Angels at the window
God I’m having a fucked up day
First there is no heat or hot water…which meant that even on my day off I had to get up get dressed go to the sports center get undressed get showered get dressed again and come home - all that because I am one of those people who cannot even get her brain started unless it has been primed with a good dousing…
On the positive side it was a stunning morning…after a rather peculiar dreamy night the sun was blinding and the blue so blue and the wind crisp and it was great to head off into the day with not a care in the world and no clock ticking.
the sun gave way to a cold damp that snuck in while I wasn’t paying attention - A fistful of errands to do - Easter treats for Pauls 3 girls, emails to Verne and Sarah
Verne’s gorgeous two youngest daughters are off to Italy…they’re not going to be ready for handsome Italian boys on red mopeds cruising them while they stroll the streets of Florence and Rome - Seriously - Little Sarah looks like a 17 year old Kate Moss - legs and blonde hair and she could seriously melt the heart of an polar bear! and Eileen - Com-on Eileen! is so smart and so clear and has the most most most beautiful eyes - Oh my there will be hearts broken in the next two weeks while they take italy by storm. I want to post a photo but all the ones I have are crashed in my old computer. I need new ones
So My friggin passport! E.X.P.I.R.E.S. on 30 March and I am hostage and cannot go anywhere and I am trapped in London and I want to be drinking Chianti in Italy and smelling fennel and oregano and tomatos and drowning in the Renaissance and looking up at the stars through the ruins of abandoned monestaries.
and the bones of Saints - scattered and disjointed how I long to put them back together. And watch those michaelangelo-boys try to steal kisses from beautiful young lips…….
Anyway just thinking about Italy has banished the bad thoughts -
